Niña Arellano established Minthe Contempo to break away from traditional gallery constraints. Her vision drives the transformation of unexpected spaces into dynamic, pop-up cultural platforms where contemporary art, community engagement, and social purpose converge.
FOUNDER’S STORY
Minthe Contempo started within standard white gallery walls alongside an early multimedia team. But as the project evolved, I realized art needed spaces that could challenge tradition.
I shifted the gallery into a solo-directed, pop-up curatorial platform to bring contemporary work into unexpected, highly atmospheric environments—from intimate setups in private lounges to open public activations in the community.
Moving away from a fixed location gives me the freedom to curate, frame, and adapt each exhibition to the unique environment it lives in, making every show a distinct spatial experience.
As Founder and Director, my role is deeply hands-on. I am committed to building an empowering, collaborative environment where artists truly have a voice, while using our platform to open real doors—running post-exhibition workshops and offering mentorship for young women stepping into the creative sector.
